It’s no joke. Google has recently entered the icy country, Antarctica, with its much-criticized eyes called Street Views. Definitely, this has opened up a new opportunity for us to explore the area as well as learn many things from the imagery. However, it’s no wonder if penguins of Antarctica begin to feel insecure about their privacy.
As Official Google Blog notes, “We’re happy to announce that you can now explore Street View imagery on all seven continents, with the addition today of Brazil, Ireland and Antarctica. You can now see images from around the world spanning from the beaches of Brazil, to the moors of Ireland, to the icy terrain in Antarctica.”
That’s not all. Google hopes that Google Street View now can be helpful for the penguins as well as people of Brazil and Ireland to navigate nearby. Hmm, interesting. Penguins are sure going to love that. But it’s definitely an important question whether penguins fear privacy issues. If they are up-to-date with the current world and know how Google Street View raises privacy concerns, they must be afraid of their privacy.
I think there should be a penguin representative to talk on behalf of all the penguins in Antarctica. Anyone has any idea how can we do that? 😀
Or maybe the penguins won’t mind being in the spotlight 🙂

Yes, that can happen, too. 😀

Haha, maybe they’re so used to being in documentaries, and being turned into animated characters for Madagascar and Happy Feet type movies, that they will merely demand a percentage of the profits

Madagascar! Oh I love those four. Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private. I’m a big fan of them!
And yea sure they are not going to demand any percentage of the profits from Google. And they maybe really tired of being in documentaries only. 😀
