i care you

The most common nature of the ones we care is that they hurt us.

How many people do we care in our lifetime? Our mothers, fathers, sisters, cousins, and best friends? Yes, we do. But sometimes we come across persons that are not related to us, but still we begin to care them more than anybody else that we know of. Not necessarily we meet them over the course of life, thanks to the Internet, we often get to know people we’ve never seen in person. But we still can’t stop caring about them. They just turn out to be so special that without even seeing them in our own eyes, we feel differently for them. That one person does not necessarily have to be our girlfriend or boyfriend, they could be anyone we just want to take care of.

This probably proves that our mind does not always collaborate with what we see with our own eyes. You will find a lot of people who have someone, or more than one, that they care. With care comes what? Hurt.

I still haven’t been able to figure out why the ones we care always hurt us. Well, it’s not always. We wouldn’t have started caring for them in the first place if they had hurt us. But once we begin caring for them, at one point or another, they hurt.

Why do the ones we care have to hurt us? Is it because the ones we care will hurt is a universal truth? Or is it because they feel that we are the most hurt-resistant persons in their life? Or is it because they think we are the only one they can behave or do anything they like without worrying that they might lose us?

Nah, none of the reasons satisfies me. I thought a lot trying to figure out why we have to get hurt by the ones we never wish to get hurt. The universe does not seem to have a better answer for me than the one I’ve come up with. You interested in what’s that?

The ones we care always hurt us because they are the ones we care. Like I already said, it’s the most common nature of the ones we care that they will hurt us at one point or another. When we see that they are hurting us intentionally without any obvious reason, it’s probably yet another sign that they know they are the ones we care.

Still, sometimes the ones we care hurt so bad that it actually pushes all the limits. It feels as if we were never meant to care for them. We don’t even deserve to care for them. We don’t even deserve to talk to them. We don’t even deserve to get in touch with them. But then again, at the end of the day, everything cools down because of this one simple thought:

They are the ones we care.

    1. Yeah, that’s something Rinth apu will be happy to agree with. šŸ˜‰

Let me tell you a secret, I didn’t think that much actually. šŸ˜‰ I was thinking exactly when I was writing this post. I was literally typing my thoughts directly on my computer screen. šŸ™‚
