It’s not everyday that your country gets a good impression from an influential international publication. Not especially when your country is going through some of its worst days of its history where lives of innocent people are proved to be of the least value. But it was definitely refreshing to see that The New York Times ran a story on Thanksgiving Day about how Bangladeshis are making a pretty career in New York Police Department as officers and traffic enforcement agents.
